5G NR log analysis L1 -(PHY)
About Course
Layer 1 (L1), also known as the Physical Layer (PHY), is the foundation of the 5G New Radio (NR) protocol stack. L1 handles tasks like data modulation, beam forming, synchronisation, and signal transmission over the air. Log analysis at this layer is crucial for understanding radio conditions, diagnosing physical layer issues, and optimising overall network performance. It helps in allocation of the radio resources such as PRB allocation as per the instruction given by the MAC Scheduler in the MAC Layers. It maintains both UL and DL Scheduling based on the technology configured for a particular deployment. This Log Analysis course has a greater impact in saving lot of time in issues analysis as a part of troubleshooting. Some of the scenarios, text logs and Wireshark tools are covered with live pcap logs capture. i Hope this course will become an invaluable tool for your day to day problem solving. This course has been designed considering 3gpp compliant devices and network vendors in mind so that, you will feel already aligned to your day to work. All the best and have a happy learning.
